In spite of the cold on my walkabout today I found this Pieris japonica.  I liked the way this was just poking up with good color in the buds and the way the leaves just hang down probably because it was about 25 ° when I was walking about in the bright sunshine.  I think these buds produce a white flower when they bloom but when they are dormant like this they are this nice orange red color.  Enjoy.
